I studied Fine Art Drawing & Painting at Glasgow School of Art. I graduated in 2000 and went on to study fashion design. It was through fashion design that I discovered how much I loved fashion illustration. My style is very feminine, fluid and painterly. I work with a mix of mediums starting with drawing, moving into paint and finishing up in Photoshop. For me the most important thing is to try to create something spontaneous and effortless, creating many, many drawings to get the right one.
Since setting up in 2010 I have created works for clients in the fashion and beauty industries, working for Tatler, Vogue Japan, Vogue Turkey, Dove, Herbal Essences and Bloomingdales, online fashion magazines The Stylist, Emerald Street, Cellardoor, The Coveted Mag and The Skinny and I have done illustration work for websites such as Chamomile Sanctuary. I work as a freelance textile designer selling my work internationally to clients in the USA and Australia; clients include Urban Outfitters, John Lewis and Calvin Klein.
